Laser Tools launches new soldering solution – Work where you need to

Laser Tool’s have announced a new addition to their range, a cordless rechargeable soldering iron perfect for mobile workers and dimly lit areas.

No longer will you be sulking over your desk like Scrooge counting his beans as you solder your next project. This baby lets you solder where the action is needed. Making it possible to solder on the go.

The soldering iron by Laser Tools’ is powered by a 1800mAh Li-on battery and features a battery charge level to allow you to know just how much charge your battery has left. Another special feature is the inbuilt LED allowing for work in dimly lit areas such as engines, bays and vehicle interiors.

The 1800mAh Li-on battery has an approximate usage time of 1 hour and recharging to full capacity in just 90 minutes. The soldering iron comes with a cheeky USB charging cable and a stand that fully encloses the tip of the iron allowing for a completely safe heat up and cool down. Laser have thought of everything to ensure you do not singe your bits. Just don’t pop it in your trousers pocket after use!

The soldering iron reaches a working temperature in approximately 15 seconds (that is quick for a battery soldering iron) and has a heat range of 200°C – 480°C. Also included with the iron, a stand and charging cable is a tip cleaning pad plus two 5g rolls of lead-free solder.

This quick soldering solution is perfect to keep in the top draw of your toolbox and is ideal for use in the workshop or in the home and a handy piece of kit for automotive technicians and electricians.
