By Marta Macedo Sunday, 16th October 2022 0 Comments Compact Suction Power Without A Cable – The New Festool CTC MINI/MIDI Cordless Dust Extractors Dust-free cordless systems – that’s the name of the game at Festool from autumn 2022. This is because from October 2022, Festool is expanding its 18-volt range with two cordless compact dust extractors: the CTC MINI and the CTC MIDI. Festool is no newcomer to the power tool market and the company has spent the last few years developing and perfecting their ecosystem of cordless tools. The latest additions? Two new compact dust extractors that combine a mobile, dust-free and healthy working environment. Whether for mobile sawing, sanding or drilling, the CTC MINI and the CTC MIDI fit perfectly into the Festool 18-volt system, making it even more mobile, independent and dust-free. Say goodbye to dust and hello to good health – even without a socket In addition to being completely integrated within the brand’s cordless system, the CTC MINI/MIDI feature the innovative Bluetooth® autostart and the practical remote control, which ensure ideal interaction between the cordless tool and the extractor, as both functions switch on the extractor automatically when the cordless tool starts up. Both extractors excel with maximum suction power thanks to the 36-volt turbine with two 18-volt battery packs, meaning they easily rival the corded versions. Ideal for mobile sawing, sanding or drilling applications, Festool has also equipped both of the cordless compact dust extractors with manual dedusting. This way, using the manual main filter and filter bag dedusting, the suction power can be quickly and easily recovered when the filter or filter bag is clogged, significantly increasing the maximum achievable fill level. The suction power can also be adjusted to three levels according to the application, therefore increasing the battery run time therefore depending on the level chosen. Both extractors are fitted with a smooth, flexible suction hose, which is ultra-robust and offers extremely flexible handling, whilst also gliding gently over every edge, and its conical geometry ensures improved suction power. Trip-proof and independent It doesn’t get any more mobile than this: compact design, low weight and cordless rather than mains-powered, these cordless compact dust extractors are the new partners for your every day, and this time with no need for a socket. The large internal hose holder makes it very easy to stow the suction hose, ensuring safe and clean transport, and, combined with four battery packs and the new TCL 6 DUO rapid charger, work can be completed in most cordless applications without interruptions. In the new energy sets, everything is conveniently packed and charged in a flash: battery packs and rapid charger in the Systainer³, and these are of course compatible with the 18-volt range from Festool. Just as usual with Festool, everything is compatible: extractor, smooth suction hose, cordless tool, T-LOC Systainer connection. In short, the system offers all-round perfection – after all, even the new cordless compact dust extractors, chargers and battery packs are fully covered by Festool service, giving you peace of mind for your day-to-day work. The new CTC MINI/MIDI cordless compact dust extractors are available at specialist retailers from October 2022 and you can find out more about them or Festool’s extensive range of power tools on the company’s website.
