By Marta Macedo Tuesday, 25th October 2022 0 Comments Trime UK Win Third Green Apple Award For Their X-ECO Lithium Hybrid Lighting Tower Trime UK is on a roll! The lighting tower specialists making a name for themselves in the sustainability world have just been awarded their third Green Apple Award in recognition of the X-Eco Lithium Hybrid, the company’s latest launch of environmentally-focused lighting products. Following their 2022 award for their X-Solar Hybrid lighting tower, Trime UK, the leading supplier of environmentally centred lighting products, has now had the sustainable qualities of their X-Eco Lithium Hybrid lighting tower formally recognised by the international, independent, non-political, environment group The Green Organisation. Listed as a finalist in the ‘Engineering and Fuel Efficiency’ category, the X-Eco Lithium Hybrid is powered by advanced lithium battery technology which means the set can be fully recharged in less than two hours. Consequently, in a ten-hour cycle, for 80% of the operation, the X-Eco Lithium Hybrid is powered exclusively by its batteries – making completely noiseless and emission-free. As part of the Green Apple Awards, Trime has been invited to a glittering presentation ceremony, hosted at the Houses of Parliament in November, where they will be presented with their award – not for the first time but just as meaningful as it was then. Commenting on this award, Trime’s Managing Director Paul Hay, says: “We are honoured to receive this accolade. It is a testament to the hard work that our design engineers have approached to develop this new product. Our principal aims are to design and manufacture a range of clean, robust, and affordable lighting towers that offer bright, safe illumination. To have the X-Eco Lithium Hybrid officially acknowledged as a sustainable product is extremely satisfying.” The Green Apple Awards began in 1994 and have become established as the country’s major recognition for environmental endeavour among companies, councils, communities and countries. The Green Organisation is dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practices around the world, and has become well established as one of the most popular environmental campaigns in the world. It only makes sense, then, that Trime, as an environmentally conscious company that supplies many of the leading UK and Ireland rental firms with eco-sensitive LED site lighting equipment, should be recognised for the company’s efforts in encouraging the use of more eco-friendly machinery. Trime’s two manufacturing plants are based near Milan, Italy, and the company is regarded as one of the leading manufacturers of powered LED lighting sets in the worldwide construction rental markets.
