By Marta Macedo Thursday, 28th April 2022 0 Comments The world premiere of the Quantron QARGO 4 EV this week The wait is over: Quantron AG are finally launching their all-electric QUANTRON QARGO 4 EV and its world premiere is this week at Quantron Q-Days. Quantron AG, the German system provider for sustainable battery-powered and hydrogen-electric mobility for commercial vehicles, is presenting its broad portfolio of commercial vehicles to a select group of investors, customers, and press representatives this week at Q-Days, an event at the company’s headquarters in Augsburg. This presentation comes just two months after the world premiere of the Cizaris, the company’s 12 metre, zero-emission, low-floor bus, developed in close cooperation with EV Dynamics. At Q-Days, the company will provide exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into their production lines and showcase new vehicles from its Q-Light and Q-Heavy ranges. From April 26th to 28th, Q-Days attendees will be able to immerse themselves completely in the world of battery- and fuel-powered mobility. For this purpose, Quantron AG has prepared its portfolio of FCEV & BEV vehicles as well as system solutions, which will be presented live by experts. As a highlight of the event, participants can expect the world premiere of the QUANTRON QARGO 4 EV, the latest addition to the light truck segment. The new member of the company’s commercial vehicle family underlines multiple USPs that Quantron have been working towards over the last few years: • its new Q design language, which follows the brand values “reliable”, “energetic” and “brave” • top electric range of up to 350 km based on an LFP battery from the world market leader CATL • with an attractive positioning for markets inside and outside Europe. In addition, Quantron AG will provide many more insights and information on its broad portfolio of zero-emission mobility solutions. • In the heavy truck segment, the QUANTRON QHD BEV 50-280 4×2 tractor unit will be in the spotlight, also featuring the new Q-design. • In the Light segment, QUANTRON will present various fully electric and hydrogen-powered vans from 3.5 to 7.2 tonnes based on Iveco Daily and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Other selected vehicles will be available for demo drives on the day of the event and Quantron has planned to delve deeper into other areas of zero-emission solutions, as well, such as retrofitting – the conversion of existing commercial vehicles. Quantron will also present the “QUANTRON VISION 2025” to selected guests on site, look at future technology highlights, and show new BEV and FCEV vehicle concepts and previously unveiled designs in an exclusive preview of the brand’s future. It will kick off the 2022 H2 and fuel cell offensive with partner Ballard Power and several other BEV variants in the light- and heavy-truck segments. With this, QUANTRON is pushing forward its vision: CO2 neutral mobility for all-electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles coupled with a platform solution, marketed as Quantron-as-a-Service.
